Universal-Rundle Brands is a company that has an over 120 year history in the plumbing industry. The company was founded in 1901 in New Castle, Pennsylvania as Universal Sanitary Manufacturing Company producing ceramic plumbing fixtures.

Over time, the company expanded its product line to include porcelain enameled bathtubs, sinks, and toilets, which became the company's main focus. In 1948, Universal Sanitary Manufacturing Company merged with Rundle Corporation of Milwaukee, WI to become Universal-Rundle Corporation.
